This is one of my very special families and am soooo sad to that they will soon be moving to Washington very soon for 3 years :( Luckily, their family lives here in San Diego, so I know they will be back for visits!!! This was actually an extra special shoot since they wanted to include Dean's parent's... Here are a few images from our session:
Isn't she beautiful?
love this sweet shot of Lolo and the kidlet :)
of course Lola was in charge of new baby Sophie!
hayden kind of did his own thing most of the time lol!
But did manage to sneak in a few moments with lolo!
love love love this shot! It was funny because as soon as I took it, Adele said "That had to look like a total fake smile"... but it wasn't. Felt & looked so natural to me.
crazy that she just had a baby huh? How cute are they though????
kind of a candid shot since Hayden was yanking on daddy's hair and Adele was trying to stay focused!
Ahhh, so fun! You guys better not stay away too long! Thank you so much for a great afternoon :)
When it came down to finding a location for our session, they immediately suggested Dixon Lake. Joe and I had brought the kids there a couple of years ago and we hadn't been back since. After doing this shoot, however, I have got to take my family there again! I would even love to do some of our own pictures there. Because it is also a campground, there are all kinds of nooks and crannies to find. Lots of places with neat staircases, tons of nature everywhere, and even paddle boats... oh how awesome would that be in some shots? Kind of hard this day with little, little ones though!
Can't wait to go back with my family and have a little session of my own!
What a beautiful family and the pictures are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing!

These are lovely! Question - how do you get adults to relax during photo shoots?! Kids I have no problem with, but the adults are always so self-consious and nervous that it comes off as fake, even dear friends. Any tips you have would be fabulous, because all your photos show how much personality is in the subjects! :)
TFS!
