I can't believe it!

Has it really been that long since I last visited my blog?  August and September brought so much stress, work, more work, more stress!  We had the store relaunch, I had 2 paper deadlines, Pop Warner football was in full swing, and to top it all off... my car was in the shop for 3 weeks getting fixed from the accident.  I'm just thankful that October is here andI can breath again, at least for a little while!

On the home front... we have poop folks!  yes thats right, we officially have poo poo AND pee pee in the potty courtesy of Makena!  We have spent the past week potty training and it has gone SO easily, almost effortlessly!  One day I woke up and just said, thats it, no more diapers... threw some undies on her butt and that was that!  She has done so good!  Only 1 accident so far, but we also haven't taken her "out" without a diaper, thats this weeks task!  I will say, though, that when we get ready to leave the house, I make her sit down and go potty, then she will more or less stay dry until we come home.  She hasn't asked to go when we have been out, but we arent ever out for a very long time, at least not this week.  So wohoo!!!!  Now I gotta see if they sell some kind of "portable" potty thing for her to use when we are out.  THANK you soooo much for all of the suggestions everyone offered a couple of months ago!  I definately used a combination of things that helped us a TON!

HHmmm, what else... Oh....  ok not that I'm completely into politics or claim to know anything about anything, I have been following what has been going on with the candidates and their campaigns.  It's such an interesting election year, one I will for sure be voting in for sure.  I won't get into specifics, since that can be dangerous lol, but the girls and I at the site have been chatting it up this week about the candidates and it prompted me to make these:

                              

Just a big pack of political "flairs" people can use on their blogs, in their siggy's in forums.  Thought it would be fun for people to sport them since we are getting down to the wire here!  Didn't want to only make em' for 1 party or another, so I included both sets and a few "across the board" ones!!!   All I ask is that you credit/link back to me if you do use them!  I'd love to know if you do use them on your blog, so link me back if ya do!!!  It's always fun to see where everyone is "at" around you.

I would love to know when you get the high-resolution political buttons...my boys are researching the election for homeschool and need to show campaign buttons and such in their report! Pretty please.
