Quick Check In...
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still a bit behind with my ct call, life, work, etc. I have received quite a few emails asking about my team and everything, but unfortunately I got pushed even further back the past few days so my sincere apologies for keeping people on hold. Over the weekend my family and I were in a car accident. LUCKILY nobody was seriously injured. The situation could have turned out so much worse for Joe, the kids, and me.... it actually happened a couple of blocks away the cemetary where my father's ashes are buried, so I'm convinced he was wacthing out for us... at least it gives me comfort to think so.... my car is a total mess... have to deal with that also with insurance and all that crap.
Anyways.... just a couple of days to get on track. Right after the accident my mind was going a mile a minute thinking about what could have happened, how bad things could have been ( I know, not productive, but you can't help it after something like that). Definately puts my life into perspective, what is important to me, things that I need to change for myself and my family. People take life for granted, I think to a certain extent everyone does... I have always been thankful for everything that I have been given and consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have what I have, to have been given everything life has given me, but the accident certainly confirms that there are still things I would like to change... on that road now. Must cut things out of my life, put more focus into other things, slow down...
Will be back in a day or so. Hugs everyone.... and give extra special ones to the kiddos and your hubby... just because :)

oh darlin, what a nightmare! So sorry about the car, that must have been really scary. ((Huggs)) to you.

I am so glad that no one was hurt. Someone was definitely watching out for y'all. That everyone is okay is the most important thing. The call is unimportant compared to that.

How scary! I'm glad that you're all okay and that no one was hurt. Sometimes it takes a reality call to help us put into perspective what matters most to us and I want to thank you for sharing your thoughts as it served as a good reminder for me about my own life.

Wow Corina! I'm so glad it wasn't too serious. Is your car totalled? Make sure you get checked out if you (any of you!) start hurting. After the shock wears off is when the pain starts. I truly believe your Dad was watching out for you! I still have thoughts like you're having (about how much worse it could've been) and my accident was 2 years ago! HUGE hugs to you, my friend! You have my prayers and my empathy! Love you!!

Oh wow. I know how scary those accidents are but I've only been in one alone, I can't imagine what it must have been like to have your family in the car with you. Take care! Make sure there are no injuries hiding, once the stress of an accident ends, the injuries pop up.
I'm sure your Dad was watching out for you.
Sending you lots of positive healing energy :)

I am SO glad that you and your family are okay. It really does help give perspective doesn't it and I know what you mean about your dad watching out for you - I feel that sometimes too. Sometime I'll tell you about how my sweet Lauren was saved but right now I'm going to go hug my kids.
