Ok, so after my last blog post and seeing that there were a "few" people who are into hybrid and/or want to get their feet wet in hybrid, I thought it would be such a neat and cool idea to start making little things here and there to help these people get started! Here is the idea.... every month I will create a set of papers that you purchase digitally and print on your own. Then there will also be a "hybrid" kit available for sale.... every month it will be a different project that includes all of the embellishments needed such as ribbons, flowers, glitter, buttons, alpha's stickers, etc. These items will be custom picked to match perfectly with the papers. Papers will be available for immediate download, then your hybrid kit will arrive Priority Mail within 5-7 business days AFTER the order is placed. For now, orders can be placed by emailing me at cnielsen11 AT hotmail DOT com. Here is my first one to match "Vintage Love"....
the cover.....
the insides...
This hybrid kit includes the following:
- 1 accordian chipboard book (6 pages/double sided) approximately 2.75" x 2.75"
- 2 yards of ribbon (1 yard each gingham and red/white polka dot)
- 10 antique black paper photo corners
- 6 custom DYMO label words and/or phrases of your choosing
- 3 scalloped mats
- 12 assorted buttons
- 1 yard of vintage lace
- 3 cardboard inked hearts
- 6 acrylic buttons
- 3 rhinestone gems
- a small vile of glass glitter
.... MORE than enough goodies to create your mini album!!!! I will also include the sketches and detailed instructions to make your project completely painless, easy, and FAST!
The price for this introductory kit is $8.00 PLUS shipping of $4.60 (USPS priority mail). The papers that coordinate with the kit can be found here . Again, I only have a small number of these physical kits ready to go, so once they are gone, they are GONE :( PLEASE check availability on kit before purchasing papers (that is if you don't want the paper alone lol)!!! I will edit my post once they are sold out..... BUT rest assured.... there will be more to come very soon with LOTS of EXTRA surprises ahead!!!!!
And before I let myself go to BBQ and jacuzzi with Mrs. Murphy who came out here for CHA, look at these shots I got at a local antique barn "shop".... everytime I go there, I fall more in love with the whole "shabby chic", rustic, vintage style!!!! Lookie...
yummy huh? Love, love, LOVE this place!!! Alrighty, off to eat! Stay tuned for all the CHA pics and Traci's trip out to Cali :) HUGS!!!!
EDITED : Whew... those went fast! Traci and I were gone all morning takin' pictures, then I had to send her off at the airport! Just got back home and will catch up on emails and get back to everyone soon! If you didn't get a chance to snag this kit, stay tuned because I just might have to put a few more together..... AND get ready for the REAL Hybrid Kit of the Month DEBUT :) Toodles ladies!!!!

Girl, I had so much fun browsing the antique stores with you and Traci! I don't have the designer eye, but just hanging was totally cool!!
We have to get together more often now that CHA is behind you!
Let's plan a lunch/shopping day somewhere in between us and SOON!
Oh! And we need to take the boys to Legoland before our passes expire!!
*mwah!!!
