Let's see... where is the best place to start? I think I may need to start with some fluffy stuff, then get to the better part lol!!! Let's talk shopping shall we?
Well, before I went digi about a year ago, I was a paper scrapper for like 8 years. I have sooo many albums sitting around the house!!! My scrapping this year has all been digi, but I have totally missed getting dirty and sticky with glue all over my hands and desk :) So I thought the best thing to do was just do some altered albums like I did last week to take the "itch" off. BUT, what I thought would be even better was to go Hybrid! The only thing that has stopped me was a really bad printer that NEVER wanted to print color lol! So, Joe talked me into spending a little cashola on this guy:
Its the HP 6180 or something close to that lol! This thing is seriously AWESOME! It's an all in one printer, fax, scanner, copier deal. I printed out papers from my new kit on it and fell in LOVE! BUT that's not even the super cool part of it.... its freaking wireless!!!!! Its sitting down in my office downstairs and while I am upstairs in my bedroom with my laptop which is SOOOO far away and all the way up the stairs, all I have to do is hit PRINT and it goes directly to it DOWNSTAIRS! How cool is that? Joe even had a little fun with it and while I was in the office checking site emails in the office, he sent over a picture of a monkey butt to me... nice huh? Anyways, I'm going to have a lot of fun with this printer... I can already tell! I actually went to my LSS and bought 4-5 board books for me to make some real hybrid stuff with my goodies! Those I will be giving away as well because I do NOT need anymore mini albums around the house lol!!!
I also bought a few things for Makena yesterday... Joe and I LOVE how kids looks in PJ's and since she already has almost every one that Baby Gap makes... thought we'd stock up at Old Navy:
So cute and so adorable :) I also got her some jeans and myself some awesome undies... but I wont show ya those lol! Then today at Target, I got her a cute little top:
Target actually has such cute clothes for little girls! LOVE most of what they have there :)
OK... lets talk NEW PRODUCTS!!! I don't have much this week!!!! Just these goodies:
And I got a special request for some more frames.... I did the horizontal ones, but they didn't go vertical very well with the shadows and all, so I redid them this way:
I'm going to have them as a bundle in the store, but you can check out all of the new products here !!!
Check out the layouts some of my girls did with the new kit.... heaven I tell you! I think I had a tear or 2 when I saw them lol! I'm so lucky to have such awesome scrappers and people around me!!!

Aren't my girls HAWT? :)
Next... let's talk about WINNERS for the "matties" challenge!!!! I am very surprised at the amount of entires I had! Everyone does such beautiful work, it just doesn't seem right picking who gets the prizes! I wish everyone could get an album I made, but thats not possible now is it lol? Anywho.... here are the chosen layouts:

And from Melinda:
Just amazing huh???? I'm ALWAYS in awe when people use my stuff.... normally when I put it out, I don't like it very much, BUT when I see it in action by so many amazing scrappers.... I cant help but LOVE what I see! Thanks to everyone who played along!
And last, but not least....
It seems as though there are some very UN kind things going on in digiland recently. I had a whole paragraph typed just now, but I'm just going to leave it short and sweet.... please be nice people! I'm not sure what people get out of talking bad about someone or singling people out just to be mean, but being on that other end SUCKS. Some people may show a "rough" exterior, but I assure you at some point that exterior will begin to break down and their feelings will be hurt. Is it really ever nice to watch someone be hurt? I hate it regardless of the circumstance, but obviously there people who don't see that my way lol!
So in light of the events I have been occurring, I figured it was time for another "Be Kind" freebie :) The last time I did one was when my car was broken into and about $650 worth of MY stuff was taken. Making the few things in this little kit definitely helped me lose the negativity I was feelin towards people, just like it did last time did last time! So here it is:
Just a few papers, a frame element, and some word art that I fell in love with.... "open you heart, open it wide.... someone is standing outside". All I ask is if you d/l this set of stuff, is try and be nice/do something nice... even if its just a hug or a hello to someone who isn't expecting it!!! I guarantee they'll like it and you just might make them smile... even if it's on the inside! I promise it will feel good :)
Feels a lot better to be nice than to be a poopy head right?
Here is the linky:
Have a GREAT week and BE nice lol!!!

Thankyou for another "Be Kind" &

Everything is gorgeous, Corina! I'm just glad your Be Kind give-away wasn't motivated by, oh say, someone stealing your cool new printer!

Thanks so much for this gorgeous freebie but more for the be kind reminder. I know a lot of people who don't bother sharing their layouts any longer because of mean stuff. It does suck, what's wrong with people? You're great to get things going in the other direction :)

What a beautiful set of papers, Corina! Thank you. Have fun with your new printer- mine is showing signs of its age with all of the printing I do for hybrid projects. Hybrid is definitley the way to go, but I can't seem to give up my mounds of paper stuff either ;)
I'm glad you enjoyed my back to school LO- I'm so glad they are back!!! LOL Now, if I can just survive the birthday/slumber party for the twins this next weekend, then things might start to settle down a bit at my house (one can hope anyway!).
